WiMax from Sprint Nextel - the new network, new opportunities

WiMax is similar to the WiFi technology that is now used in many shops and airport terminals, providing opportunities for web surfing. Mobile service is expected to be more expensive than ordinary home DSL connection. Sprint Nextel is not limited only to mobile devices. As stated, with the help of special chips embedded WiMax will be used in MP3 and DVD players, and camcorders.
Sprint Nextel network is organized in collaboration with Intel, which will produce chips for WiMax, as well as Motorola and Samsung Electronix, who organize the network infrastructure and will be engaged in the production of exclusive devices.
